There are Multiple ways to Vote!

  • Vote in-person at an official polling place – On Election Day, you must vote at your assigned polling place. Your precinct is listed on your Voter Information Card. *Check your state’s laws to determine if you need to bring an ID, and what kind.
  • Vote by mail / Absentee voting  – Each state has mail-in voting, but some allow you to take part only in certain circumstances. Your state election office has specific rules for your state. To request an absentee ballot, voters should complete an absentee ballot application and return the ballot to their county registration office.
  • Early or Advance Voting – Early Voting can be a convenient way to avoid the crowds on election day. Depending on your state, advance voting begins the 4th Monday prior to the date of the election.
